Located in the CBD of Hutt City, the Town Hall is an ideal venue for a wide range of private and community events.

Next to the Council administration building and the Horticultural Hall, the Town Hall has three areas which can be hired separately or in combination as required.

The Auditorium is a large space (22m x 17m) with wooden floors and a raised stage at one end. Theatre-style seating on a mezzanine floor looks down on the stage from the opposite end of the hall. A fully-tuned piano and portable seating is also available. The Auditorium can hold up to 950 people, depending on your event.

The Supper Room is a spacious room with polished wooden floors and a carpeted area, and dining tables and chairs. Large windows and hanging light features add to the modern feel of the room.

The Kitchen is accessed from the Supper Room, and has been fully renovated. It is fully equipped with a water-heating zip, large commercial oven, refrigerator, pie warmer and dishwasher.

The Town Hall has wheelchair access, and alcohol can be served if a license is obtained. It is the perfect venue for meetings, concerts, buffet or seated wedding receptions, social functions and balls.

The Town Hall and Horticultural Hall are the two largest venues in Hutt City, and can be combined for large events such as balls or exhibitions. Hutt City Little Theatre is also another perfect event venue to hire.
